Did you know that more than 160 corporations, including Wells Fargo, PG&E, Facebook and BART, now recognize certified LGBTQ owned businesses as part of their diverse and inclusive supply chains? With a membership tailored to New Mexico LGBTQ+ business owners, the New Mexico Out Business Alliance is offering this national certification FREE with your membership.


NMOBA works in partnership with the National Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce (NGLCC) to bring to our members the opportunity to get their businesses certified as an LGBTQ+ Business Enterprise. NGLCC is the exclusive third-party organization for the LGBTQ Business Enterprises certification.


Does your business meet the following criteria?

  • Majority (at least 51%) owned, operated, managed, and controlled by an LGBTQ+ person or persons who are either U.S. citizens or lawful permanent residents
  • Exercises independence from any non-LGBTQ+ business enterprise
  • Has its principal place of business (headquarters) in the United States
  • Has been formed as a legal business entity in the United States

Job Training Albuquerque (JTA) is a workforce development program that provides opportunities for the local workforce to gain necessary skills in order to fill gaps and meet the workforce needs of existing and potential employers.


JTA provides an opportunity for Albuquerque employers to skill up their workforce and provides an opportunity for employees to gain high-demand skills and industry specific credentials. JTA is a partnership between the City of Albuquerque and Central New Mexico Community College (CNM). Program funding is provided by the City of Albuquerque Economic Development Department and is administered by CNM Ingenuity.


The City prioritizes workforce development as a strategy for economic growth. The EDD creates opportunities to skill up Albuquerque’s workforce to match local employer demand, advance workers’ careers, and generate higher wages. Learn More
